The Wind-Walker is truly a “special purpose” rifle for serious hunters that walk all day and tote their rifle, especially in high country. It weighs a little over seven pounds and it’s made to take adverse weather conditions and punishment associated with hard mountainous hunting. Like the Signature, the Wind-Walker is 100% Jarrett made. Barrel, action and stock are all built by us and designed to work together. The Wind-Walker is wonderfully balanced and still weighs enough to be shootable.
The Wind-Walker barrel has a special taper we devised
and it still has our magical 1/10th deviation standard
full length. We crown it at 24" and it has to have our
muzzle brake which is a part of the accuracy magic. It
uses the Jarrett Tri-Lock action described in the
Signature series.
We also use the Talley mounting system for the scope.
We recommend the American series 1" tube Swarovski
4 x 12 scope for the Wind-Walker. The Wind-Walker
also has our priority phenolic resin metal finish with a
choice of colors. We develop an accuracy load for each
Wind-Walker and we guarantee it to deliver 7/10ths
M.O.A. or better at 100 yards. You get 20 loaded
rounds and a ballistic print out.
